    Looks great from a distance

The planter, leaves, trunk/stem and fake soil look amazing. However, the way it was put together makes it looks very fake if you get within a few feet from it. Not only can I see where glue was used, but the points where the leaves are attached to the stem are obviously plastic and impossible to miss. The brown cloth pieces that are supposed to cover those points don’t help at all and instead draw even more attention to them. I really wanted to love it, but now I’m just trying to figure out if I can salvage the planter.
