No hook for hanging and too scratchy for new door

I would not recommend this wreath. There was no hook to hang it, so we had to fashion one ourselves. We have a new navy front door which could easily be scratched by the ends of the twigs and the unprotected ends of wires sticking out that hold the twigs together. We spent hours making a hook and hot-gluing patches of brown felt all around the back of the wreath so our door finish would be protected. Although the wreath looked pretty when we could finally put it up, the process of getting it hangable was annoying. Why buy a wreath that we have to make over just to use? I expected something better.
